The White Hills Residents Association invites all homeowners in our community to attend the 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM). This is an important opportunity to stay informed, have your say, and help shape the future of our neighbourhood.

Update on the reinstatement of the WHRA: membership, directors, and organizational structure.
Glen Arbour dock: update and discuss regarding status and potential for sharing costs.
Proposed areas of focus for WHRA:
Emergency Egress
Dry hydrants
Development of Tomahawk Park
Motion to formally reinstate the WHRA.
Election of directors and officers
Special Business:
Motion to reinstat the Area Rate
Motion to revise bylaws to update language (e.g. references to outdated technology wrt means of communicating with members).
Looking Ahead:
Continued engagement with HRM regarding egress planning and dry hydrants.
Tomahawk Park development.

We are seeking a Community Representative for the school SAC. Please share or circulate the following notice among your community contacts and constituents about this opportunity to serve in our school learning community.
Do you want to know what’s happening in our community, in particular the Madeline Symonds Middle School learning community and contribute in a meaningful way to our education system? School Advisory Councils (SAC) are intended to give community members a say in what’s going on at all levels of the education system on topics ranging from policies to extracurricular programs to fundring and more.
The SAC brings partners together to make decisions and solve problems in the best interest of student learning. All members of the SAC have a voice so that the needs of students are represented and the school is responsible to the community it serves.
Meetings occur a minimum of 6 times per year.
Meetings will run no longer than 90 minutes.
Meetings are open to the public.

There was some interest expressed regarding improvements to water access at McCabe lake.
We are looking into options for having a dock installed at the Sandwick Dr Park on McCabe Lake.
